Truong Nhat Quyen, FOUNDER OF YOISHO

YOISHO is a Japanese expression, said when flopping into a chair after a hard-working day.

Yoisho is a concept store based in the heart of Saigon, an interior and lifestyle destination offering minimalist and contemporary designs.

How did it all begin for your brand?

In early 2018, we started Yoisho as our own hobby for our love of interior and home decor. We recognised that it was quite difficult to find a concept home decor and lifestyle shop in Vietnam. We thought, why don’t we create a destination to home shopping but just in style for Vietnamese young people? Our products are carefully selected from other countries and some we create in Vietnam such as furniture and pottery.

What is a stand out moment in shaping your brand?

To be honest, I think it's the team we established behind our brand. We recognised that it was about branding, products and pricing so we created a style of product - both minimalist and contemporary, that is reasonable in price for our Vietnamese younger market. We established a team behind our brand that involves a Marketing Team, Production Team, Warehouse Team, Buying Team and Creative Team to ensure a successful business and brand.

What creative work inspires you?

We are inspired by everything in life - travel, something new, colour palettes, nature - everything we see every day. We are impacted by Scandinavian style, the minimalism lifestyle of Japanese, less is more. We want to create products that can maximise space and create a beautiful home of style.

We deeply believe that your home tells people who you are as a person, we help you express who you are in the best way possible.
