I love to play with light and shadows to create intimate photos. Whether I photograph people or nature I often seek intimacy and a sense of calm. For me photography is an escape, when I am with my camera I only think about what I see through my lens. Everything else disappears and I am completely in that moment. I am seldom so relaxed as when I take photos! I have been photographing more seriously since 2012 and I started with digital cameras. In 2018 I felt that I wanted to know more about the actual method so I started doing analogue photography. Today I use my analogue cameras and the darkroom mostly for my black and white work and nature is mostly with my digital cameras. When people look at my work I hope they can feel some of the emotions and sense of calm I felt when taking the photos.
